This plantation style home invites you to enjoy the true spirit of aloha. The home is surrounded by Ohia Lehua and Tree Ferns ( Hapu’u). Its large wrap-around deck allows you to enjoy the morning sun . You can relax in the Jacuzzi, barbeque your favorite steak on the gas grill while you sit and enjoy Hawai’i at it’s best, in the cool , serene, and peaceful setting of this unique rain forest.
As you enter your home away from home, it greets you with vintage décor taking you back to the Hawaii of old, but with all the modern day conveniences. After a long day hiking on the trails at the Volcano’s National Park you can sit by the wood burning fireplace, sip on a glass of wine from the Volcano Winery as you relax and enjoy reading about Hawaii and it’s history.
When you decide it’s time to retire after a long day of hiking and swimming at the Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, just thirty minutes away, you can unwind in your own personal retreat. Each bedroom has been lovingly decorated with antique and vintage décor. Hawaiian quilts, hypo-allergenic down blankets and beds keep you warm during the cool volcano nights.
After having a relaxing breakfast on the front porch you can enjoy the many amenities that Volcano has to offer: restaurants, post office, 18 hole golf course, gift shops and art galleries, Hawaii Volcano’s National Park and Award Winning Volcano Winery just minutes away from your home. The historic Hilo town, with its many shops and vintage Art-Deco style buildings awaits you just forty minutes away from your retreat.

There's a $15 booking fee.
30+days prior to arrival date will receive a refund less a 15% cancellation fee.
15-29 days prior to arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
7-14 days prior to your arrival date will receive a 25% refund.
Cancellations received less than one week to arrival date will forfeit payment. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. |
